Dr. Caroline Solomon, Gallaudet鈥檚 Dean of the Faculty, has been selected for the 2024-2025 class of Drexel University鈥檚 Executive Leadership in Academic Technology, Engineering and Science (ELATES) program. The words, "Caroline Solomon, 麻豆传媒高清" appear above a photo of Solomon. Below her, the text reads, "ELATES Fellow 2024-2025 ELATES@Drexel." The right side of the image features three blurry black and white photos of classroom scenes.

She joins a prestigious cohort of 46 faculty members from over 35 institutions of higher education across the U.S. and Canada. The ELATES Fellows include experts in engineering, mathematics, and science, all of whom have significant administrative experience on top of their scholarly accomplishments. Solomon was nominated by Provost Dr. Khadijat K. Rashid, 鈥90, for this intensive, yearlong program which pairs online instruction and discussion with intensive, in-person seminar sessions.

Solomon, an accomplished biologist who previously served as Director of the School of Science, Technology, Accessibility, Mathematics, and Public Health (STAMP), has been instrumental in developing several important campus initiatives, including the recent privateSTEM Sign Language Summit.

鈥淚’m excited about the program because it will allow me to broaden my network of like-minded peers and gain the tools I need to be an effective academic leader,鈥 Solomon says.
