Morgan Jericho

Morgan Jericho, ’14, an Associate Sustainability Coordinator in the Office of Campus Design and Planning, wrote an , “Disability Justice and Language Access in Climate and Resiliency Planning,” for the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. The essay is one of six in Volume III of AASHE’s anthology, Racial Equity and Social Justice, with the theme “No Sustainability Without Justice.” 

Eastman writes, “Higher education institutions, particularly those that are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, should take proactive steps to ensure that members of the deaf and hard of hearing community are not excluded,” and identifies ways to promote inclusivity in higher education sustainability.

Jericho works at Gallaudet on electric vehicle charging infrastructure, waste management auditing, and supporting the creation of a new microgrid system. He holds a master’s degree in sustainability from the University of South Florida.
