Overview

The School of Civic Leadership, Business, and Social Change curates the student experience for those interested in studying business, accounting, insurance, communication studies, government, public administration, sociology, social work, pre-law, pre-MBA, and more. Students can achieve various levels of education, including Master’s degrees and non-degree options (via Center for Continuing and Online Education (CCOE)).

The number of deaf and hard of hearing business professionals and educators is too small even in today’s barrier-free world. We’re here to change that.

We have a carefully designed academic experience that includes:

  • Conducting research: Advancing knowledge in a chosen field of study that translates into solutions and policies that make a positive impact in our world – especially for the deaf community.
  • Growing a professional community: Network with deaf and hard of hearing individuals who are empowered to overcome misconceptions and increase the number of deaf and hard of hearing business professionals.
  • Access to the best technology: Competitive with the highest-ranked universities and business environments in the nation, preparing students for careers outside the classroom environment.
