The Division of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion continues its biweekly panel discussions on Gallaudet鈥檚 Stand Against Systemic Racism and Violence on Tuesday, July 14 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. This week鈥檚 panel, 鈥淏eing the Change: A Conversation with EDI鈥, features three EDI staff members: Olugbenga Aina, G-鈥97, Director; Elvia Guillermo Aguilar, G-鈥03, Coordinator of Cross-Campus Multicultural and International Student Programs (CCMISP); and Alex Leffers,鈥93, Coordinator of LGBTQ Programs and EDI Marketing Specialist. The focus of the discussion will be on EDI鈥檚 response to our vision of inclusive excellence.
The panel will be facilitated by Dr. Elavie Ndura, Vice President, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; and Thuan Nguyen-Lakrik, 鈥00, Manager, Student Advocacy, Development, and Mentoring.
The Gallaudet鈥檚 Stand Against Systemic Racism and Violence series is a collaborative effort of the Anti-Racism Commitment Team (ARCT), which includes representatives from the Gallaudet Staff Council (GSC), the Faculty of Color Coalition (FoCC), and the Organization for Equity for Staff of Color (OESOC).
