Overview

The Mathematics Program provides students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills by teaching them mathematical and logical structures. These skills enhance students鈥 abilities to make logical decisions and qualify them for a variety of highly intellectual jobs.

The program offers exceptional opportunities to build strong analytical and quantitative skills in both theoretical and applied mathematics. Working alongside experienced faculty, students take part in research projects, internships, and advanced courses that prepare them for work in sectors such as engineering, education, and finance.

In addition to traditional mathematics courses such as calculus, algebra, analysis, and geometry, we offer a rich list of elective mathematics courses that include cryptography, chaos theory, and graph theory. The program offers a B.A., a B.S., and a minor in mathematics.

B.A. / B.S. in Education - Science Specialization (CHE, BIO, MATH)

Students who are majoring in biology, chemistry, and mathematics can also work their way toward full licensure in teaching and working with students in grades 6-12.
