Eric P. Setzer, ’16, is featured in the current issue of the Boston University Wheelock College of Education and Human Development magazine. Setzer, who received his master’s degree in deaf education at BU in 2020, is a goaltender for the United States Deaf men’s soccer team. The article chronicles his journey from youth soccer to international competition. 

Setzer is a teacher at California School for the Deaf at Riverside, the same school attended by his mother, Kathleen D. Setzer, ’71, and father, Paul M. Setzer, ’68. His father was an art professor at Gallaudet until his passing in 2007.
