GoVoBo, a project by Gallaudet and AppTek, was chosen for Verizon鈥檚 Forward for Good Accelerator . The Verizon Forward for Good Accelerator is part of Verizon鈥檚 plan to support start-ups that are developing solutions leveraging technology to drive meaningful impact. Gallaudet partnered with AppTek to develop an application, , which is a universal captioning application for the deaf and hard of hearing community that can be personalized to each user鈥檚 needs in more than 20 languages. This project is led by two Gallaudet professors, Dr. Christian Vogler and Dr. Patrick Boudreaux, and a Gallaudet student, Ms. Molly Feanny. 

Verizon forward

GoVoBo is one of seven start-ups selected into the cohort this year, and each start-up will receive technology coaching, expert mentorship, connections to potential partners and funders, and $50,000 in funding to scale their solutions. Congratulations!
