ML2’s Yiqiao Wang selected as one...
Motion Light Lab creative designer Yiqiao Wang, ’09, is in the news once again. She has been selected as one of the 16 artists who will be creating murals in the NoMa area and along the Metropolitan Branch Trail, starting tomorrow and continuing through September 15. This event, known as the , continues through October 19. It is sponsored by the NoMa (North of Massachusetts Avenue) Business Improvement District.
Wang will be the second deaf artist represented in the neighborhood, after Art and Media Design professor Michelle McAuliffe. There will be a NoMa in Color kickoff party tomorrow (rain date Sunday) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Alethia Tanner Park, 227 Harry Thomas Way NE.
