President Cordano among 25 local Women...
privatePresident Roberta J. Cordano has been selected by the Washington Business Journal as one of their 25 Women Who Mean Business for 2023. According to WBJ, 鈥淭he class of 2023 joins an elite cadre of 500 women who鈥檝e previously been honored since the program’s launch two decades ago. Each year, hundreds of women from around the region are nominated for the honor. The Washington Business Journal solicits the help from an outside panel of judges to review nominations and the final decisions are made by the Washington Business Journal newsroom. The honorees are distinguished leaders within their respective fields who鈥檝e made meaningful contributions to the Washington-area community through their professional and philanthropic work.鈥
President Cordano and her fellow honorees will be feted at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on October 5 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. All honorees will be profiled in a special section of the Washington Business Journal that will appear in print and online on October 6.
Earlier this year, President Cordano was named one of USA Today鈥檚 Women of the Year.
Congratulations, President Cordano!
